Diamond Impregnated Wet/Dry Polishing Pad 4″ 400#

Diamond-impregnated polishing pads ( velcro backed ) are specially designed for wet work on surfaces of natural stone, especially granite and marble, and cured concrete.

They are also excellent at polishing porcelain tiles for a bullnose or providing an arris on a cut edge of a tile

• Use a M14 Aluminum backing pad for use on flat surfaces or finishing a beveling cut.
• Use a M14 Rubber backing pad for use on bullnose or rounding an edge.
• Maximum working speed with any Velcro pad should not exceed 3000 rpm
• 50, 100, and 200 grain polishing pads for initial course cutting are required and can be used dry, using wet will prolong the life of the pad.
• 400 and 800-grain polishing pads provide a very smooth honed finish and should be used with water to avoid getting too hot and burning the surface.
• 1500 and 3000-grit polishing pads are the finest and provide a gloss finish and must be used with water
